San Luis CBP officers seize 32 pounds of methamphetamine

mf98qx-mf98p5slumeth2web[1]A woman from Mexico has actually been apprehended for trying to smuggle almost 32 pounds of methamphetamine into the nation with the San Luis port of entry.

According to an USA Customs and Border Security updates release, officers on Monday referred Amy Jean Diaz, 38, of San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora Mexico, to the secondary inspection area for an extra examination of her Ford van.

After a CBP narcotics diagnosis canine alerted to the presence of drugs, the news release states that an additional search of her van resulted in the discovery of 30 plans of methamphetamine hidden throughout the automobile.

The medications and automobile were processed for seizure. Diaz was turned over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations.
